Responsibility: Powder Coatings, New Product Development and Products Maintaining based on customers’ or sales’ requests.
- Development of PU coating products for Gernel Industry customer.
- Convincing customer to use mono-coating system instead of existed 2 -layer systems by solid experiment results.
- Solution is further developed. Edge coverage increased by 20% while formula cost decreased by 15%.
- A new PU hardener was specially introduced to achieve stable gloss range.
- Pass customer certification in U.S in one shot, won the order 20T/year.
- Development of the First Mono-coating Systems with Super durable Polyester for Car-body area.
- Customer requests a whole powder coating solution for truck loaders to replace liquid paints.
- First pilot in the white product. Balanced the durability, flexibility and flowing by evaluation of different resin system. PE is chosen and further developed. Meet other coating requirements by formula adjustment.
- Higher weathering performance request. As customer wants to reduce the acrylic layer, we need to cover the multiple coating performances by one layer coating. Polymer, catalyst polymer species, pigmentation and other additives are studied.
- Products family building. By polyester species and dosage designing, we developed C0/C1/C2/C3/C4/C5, 6 different durability classes for 9 colors according to customers’ needs.
- Based on our efforts, a clear powder mono -coating products family is built in China. 10 SKUs are supplied to customer 30-50T/Year. Formula backbone guiding more products in Auto areas, such as cab, carriage, etc.
- Cost-down 10%-30% in different products.
- Technical support for powder coatings on Special vehicles / ACE/ Commercial cars, etc.
- A tricky problem was encountered by our customer: Not enough coverage on a welding line by any coating or painting method. According to development experience in VR, it is learned that putty might solve the customer’s problem.
- Through multifunctional cooperation, totally 5 putties and 12 technical applications was studied and evaluated. Finally, we help our customer solve the problems on time.
- Formula cost down work according to customer request: By replacing possible R.M. in formula, successfully reduce cost by 10%-20% for more than 5 SKUs.
- Responsible for the application and tests. Formula analyze / Performance check/ Defects identification for sales and customers.
