Asad Safi

I am a Celta certified English language teacher, an interpreter who speaks 6 languages. Italian will be my 7th.

My teaching career began in 2010 after I completed training at the NATO Defense Language

Institute (DLI/FLC), where I worked as a translator and English instructor supporting U.S. and NATO missions in Afghanistan. This role helped me develop strong communication skills and gave me valuable experience in serious, professional learning settings.

I spent over eight years teaching English in Turkey, mainly with TEOL Schools of

Languages. I worked with students of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced learners. In

2016, I completed the CELTA certification from Cambridge English, which improved my ability to create clear, student-focused lessons using modern teaching methods.

Now living in Palermo, I am looking for opportunities to continue my teaching career and contribute to a professional team. I speak six languages, including English and German, and although I am a
