As a recent graduate from The Fashion Institute of Technology, Beatrice has channeled her knowledge of Advertising and Marketing Communications in different endeavours, from content writing to journalism - contributing to her institution's publications and more. She aspires to a career in the latter, and continues to research and write about the fashion business and related industries.
As a student, I largely contributed to my institution's magazine and newspaper—Blush and W27—taking a business-centric or cultural approach to my fashion stories, where I have mastered the art of the interview and developed a knack for coming up with unique story angles. Simultaneously, I also became a student tutor and assisted my peers with Italian-based assignments and marketing projects, practicing active listening and tailoring my approach to each individual.
At the moment, I am a contributor to arts and culture at the Fellini Magazine in Italy, and a content writer focused on localized translations and SEO content for LikeLingo.
Majoring in Advertising and Marketing Communications allowed me to develop a critical eye for market trends and integrated marketing communications, with an insider perspective from professors in the industry and related coursework—such as fashion journalism, corporate communications, data analysis, economics, and more. With such an academic background, I am confident about employing my skills in every branch of communications, from journalism to public relations, from marketing to brand management.
