Graduated in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology, I have experience both as a pharmacist and as a researcher in the laboratory.
I am currently enriching my academic background by attending the second-level master’s degree in clinical research and medical affairs which I plan to finish in March 2024.
My strengths are resourcefulness and determination.
As a curious person I really appreciate the teamwork guided by exchange of ideas and passion.
Pharmacist: From march I work as a trainee pharmacist, my main tasks are over-the-counter sales, recipe management and the galenic laboratory. I decided to do this job for six months while waiting to take part in the state exam that will take place in July. That job also gives me the opportunity to broaden my knowledge about the medicines currently on the market and about Italian and European legislation.
Master Thesis Project: I used to work as a researcher at the Microbiology laboratory of the University of Porto for my experimental thesis "Description of new species of Citrobacter from different sources". I used to perform different kind of test for the characterisation of novel species, like the DNA extraction or the antimicrobial resistance tests. After the test I collected all the data and comparing with other species already published I wrote an article that will be published.
Internship - Pharmacist: This experience was the first part of my 450-hour curricular internship. My main job was to help pharmacists in the preparation and distribution of medicines. My main task was to deliver methadone and other drugs to patients in the rehabilitation program and compile the drug registry. That experience showed me how different can be as the approach to medicine, as the approach to the patients in different countries and the different rules to own a pharmacy even the countries are both in Europe.
Sales assistant: Assistance to the clients at any stage of the purchase and promotion of products.
Master's in Clinical research and medical affairs - Courses: pharmacology, GCP, management of clinical research, management of an experimental drug, data analysis, scientific reports, medical devices.
