Elisa Pierini

I am a motivated and passionate Data Scientist. I graduated in Data Science from the University of Rome "La Sapienza" and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics. Currently, I work at Reply, specifically at LAIFE Reply, a consulting firm specializing in AI, GenAI, Machine Learning, and Big Data for the Healthcare and Life Science sectors.

Throughout my academic journey, I have actively participated in various initiatives, including delivering presentations, collaborating on group projects, and tackling assignments that span a wide spectrum of topics. These experiences have equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of data mining, machine learning, bioinformatics, data-driven modeling, structured query language (SQL) and statistics. I have applied statistical methods to real-world datasets, enhancing my analytical skills and deepening my practical expertise in solving complex data challenges.

Analysis of complex queries and structured/unstructured data, with a strong emphasis on natural language processing (NLP) and the development of predictive and classification models. I contribute to projects in the areas of Smart Diagnostics, Digital Therapy, Real-World Data, and Digital Health, supporting the extraction of meaningful insights to aid diagnosis and treatment. I collaborate with national and international research partners, applying data-driven approaches to optimize clinical and decision-making processes.

I develop and implement data solutions aimed at improving efficiency and accelerating the extraction of actionable insights for analysts and healthcare professionals, using technologies such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Python, and SQL.
