Esperienza
Healthcare consultant at Xenia Reply Srl (2023-10 – Present)
Working on the design and development of healthcare integration platforms for regional and national eHealth systems, with focus on secure access, patient data exchange, and clinical workflow integration.
- Built a token management webapp in Java Spring Boot (Java 21) to support remote authentication for SISS3 (Lombardy's health system), exposing APIs for token lifecycle management, distributed storage with Hazelcast, and scheduled refresh/cleanup mechanisms
- Refactored and integrated a legacy backend (Java 8 + Swing) to support a new Angular frontend, rebuilding internal logic and API flows
- Designed and developed an Anagraphic API Gateway (Java Spring Boot) for integration with ANPR, applying clean/hexagonal architecture principles and implementing specification-driven JWT/JWS token generation for secure interactions with national platforms (PDND)
- Integrated REST and SOAP clients generated from OpenAPI and WSDL specifications to invoke internal and external services (e.g. token services, MPI, ANPR), used within batch and real-time healthcare integration flows
- Managed complex module dependencies in a multi-layered architecture with REST and SOAP services
- Integrated HL7 v2 and SOAP/XML messaging for interoperability between hospital systems and regional platforms (FSE 2.0, MPI, clinical repositories)
- Provided technical support (Jira) and system monitoring (Grafana) for deployed services
