Filippo Veglia

As Officer of the Italian Army, I have been in service since 1980 and I have over 15 years’ work experience in the Training and Operations sector, which I consolidated during various NATO and EU missions including 3 years at South Eastern Europe Brigade (SEEBRIG) - a Multinational Partnership for Peace HQ in Turkey and Greece. I also have managed the organisation and logistics on the field in Iraq, Kosovo, Afghanistan and more. During my career I developed my leadership skills by leading units as well as been in charge as head of Training and Operations office in unit at Division level.

I have been on leave as a Colonel since 16th April 2018.

After retirement I have worked for Kelmer Risk Limited as responsible for coordinating security activities at a Saudi Arabia National Guard site during the construction phase of housing and facilities for S.A.N.G. personnel, specifically: Organizing and planning activities to ensure an adequate level of site security during the construction and building of accommodation facilities for Saudi Arabia National Guard military personnel - Careful, methodical, and practical organization of the daily tasks of the Security Department staff while maintaining an excellent workflow - Analysis of priorities and critical issues with the aim of promptly identifying the best solutions to problems, favoring a cooperative and pragmatic approach
