CELTA graduate at IH London.
Significant experience of 2+ years in teaching young learners as well as adults, and international adult classes in the UK and at EF Malta – various levels. This allowed me to explore how teaching methods can be differently efficient, culture-wise. I have an economic background, which allowed me to help students prepare for interviews and university exams. Plus, I am trained for PGCE in Italy.
I am an enthusiastic teacher and I make good use of my excellent interpersonal skills in order to create a productive and cheerful environment for learners.
During my career I have been thoroughly planning my lessons both with original materials and coursebook resources, addressing different skills through specific tasks. More than once have worked in a team to integrate learner-centred lessons and maximise learning on
TL.
My experience as a primary school teacher has prepared me to face different students’
needs and to adapt my teaching style to various recipients. I have, moreover, been holding a one-to-one course focused on students' communicative skills for levels A2 to C1 and ages
11+. I am largely familiar with Cambridge Exams having taken FCE, CAE and CPE
(grade A).
As an ESL teacher I look forward to always finding new ways to pass on my knowledge and learn from the experience at the same time.
