Julia Hichard

My name is Julia Hichard, I'm a Bachelor of Business Administration student at EM-Lyon Business School in Paris. Thanks to my seriousness, I've had the honour of being selected to do a university exchange at the Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali (LUISS) in Rome where I am currently in my third year. As part of my programme, I would like to do a 6-month internship, from January 10th, 2024 to June 28th, 2024, in the field of Management/Marketing/Sales.

I've already done several work internship, including France, my home country, and Canada, where I carried out complex assignments that required me to excel. I'm assiduous and rigorous by nature. My various experiences have enabled me to acquire perfect English, which I now speak fluently in addition to French.

I also have a very good level of Spanish and I'm learning Italian. During these internships, I was able to take on the position of sales representative and Management & legal assistant that have helped me to improve in a wide range of skills such as versatility, communication, management, organisation, etc.

During my last internship in Canada, I had the privilege to assist conferences by managing the planning and creation of the various support used for the conferences. Also, I have assisted lawyers with their various tasks such as trial support, document research and analysis such as calculating the loss and gain of a client. I was also able to work alongside the business owner on the front line when it came to operating his business and other various tasks.

In fact, I have done a lot of team work during my training so cooperation would not be an issue for me and I know how to adapt to the demands and needs of my peers/clients, which according to me, is the essence of our profession. I have at heart to answer a need in a precise and personalized way in accordance with each request.

About me, I am passionate about theatre, which I've been doing since I was 13 years old, and this passion has enabled me to achieve perfect diction and narration, which is one of my greatest strengths. I'm very comfortable speaking and communicating. Making calls to customers, working as part of a team, greeting customers, meeting everyone's needs in the greatest detail are all qualities that stem from my ability to listen and communicate well within a team or with customers.

EM-Lyon's BBA programme is a comprehensive course in business administration in four years. It includes a wide range of courses such as accounting, marketing, finance, human resources management, strategy, etc. EM-Lyon makes a point of putting internationalisation at the heart of its training.

Students following the English track have all EM-Lyon courses taught in English throughout their programme. It also aims to develop students' personal skills, including leadership, ethical decision-making and project management. They must also take part in academic exchanges with international partners, as I am currently doing with LUISS, and carry out internships abroad.

In fact, BBA students are encouraged to do internships in companies to gain practical experience and develop their professional network.
