Graduated in analytical chemistry at the "La Sapienza" University of Rome.

I consider myself very passionate and determined, with a natural predisposition to analytical and critical thinking.

My teachers and tutors have commended me for my high level of interpersonal skills and naturally engaging personality. My motivations include learning new things and the challenge of meeting key objectives.

Graduated in analytical chemistry at the "La Sapienza" University of Rome.

This path has opened my eyes about my real passion in the chemistry field, escpecially the green chemistry. I have improved my skills as an analytical chemist and biotecnology thanks to my experience of one year at the ''Universidade de Aveiro'' in Aveiro, Portugal, which has made me experienced and confident studying and working on the capabilities of marine macroalgae, Ulva lactuca, for the remediation of contaminated saline water, through the removal of yttrium (Y), europium (Eu) and mercury (Hg) from laboratory-prepared seawater spiked with the elements. In this research, biosorption has also been shown to be a promising, sustainable and ecologic alternative for the recovery and recycling of these elements..

The innovation of this research concerns the optimization of the removal process and achievement of the objective of increasing the removal of these contaminants at the industrial level, which, if implemented, will be efficient and low cost, preventing a surplus of secondary pollution.

With regard to my ability to meet the specific requirements of this job:

• In my work I have gained, enjoying, independence in the management, analyses, and characterization of algaes, especially ''Ulva lactuga''.
• Furthermore, I acquired advanced skills in laboratory and analytical techniques, such as preparation and analysis of environmental samples, particularly water sample and carrying out metal sorption tests. Other competences to be acquired involve learning how to collect information; to define protocols; to organize and discuss data; to write scientific documents.
• And finally, I have participated and discussed in conferences related to my thesis work, making sure that the line of research is known and improved.

The experience of one year at the ''Universidade de Aveiro'' in Aveiro, Portugal, which has made me experienced and confident studying and working on many aspects of the laboratory life, and also, permitted me to present and explain the topic to an audience of chemists.
