I am freshly graduated from the Polytechnic University of Marche in Italy with a master's program in Biomedical Engineering taught in English and qualified as a Biomedical Engineer.
I am quite interested in continuing my experience regarding medical equipment, particularly laboratory devices, and improving my experience in other medical devices.
I have worked as a field service engineer in "Medical Engineering Center Co."; this company provides services for laboratory instruments. Medical Engineering Center has a private agency for companies that specialize in laboratory equipment, which requires alignment of the optical element and robotics mechanisms. I was responsible for repairing and checking electronic/mechanical equipment, doing annual checks and calibration, installation of laboratory equipment, achieving proper preventive maintenances, troubleshooting, and software & hardware upgrades. The most critical points then were to follow the instruction for lab safety and prioritizing service requests, which requires in most times to travel to far cities and be able to adapt to the rapidly changing environment.
This experience was my passion for getting further in-depth education in the field of Biomedical Engineering.
The academic part starts with the tons of theoretical and practical experience I gained through my bachelor’s degree at Damascus University. This part was sharpened by my recently gained master’s degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Politecnica Delle Marche in Italy. I joined the ERASMUS program in Lisbon, Portugal for six months to do an internship. This knowledge also facilitates communication with medical staff in their own language.
