Robin Gilbody

I am an enthusiastic teacher motivated to drive student growth for lifelong success. I have taught English Language and Literature to students of all ages, and have the experience and expertise to foster in each student a love of learning and sense of personal success. I am a resourceful and passionate educator with an adaptable and approachable style, and I am committed to creating comfortable learning environments for students.

My long experience in International School education has made me sensitive to teaching students of different cultures and whose native language is not English. As an educator, I believe children are the centre of learning and that they must be the active participants. I believe in practising teaching strategies and cooperative learning activities to nurture student interaction and to stimulate a natural curiosity to learn.

In my class, each student strives to work to his or her full potential, and I teach with the conviction every student is unique in the learning process and can make a difference if given the right attention.
