I am a copywriter and editor with three years of experience in this field. I specialize in producing copy for companies to develop and stay true to their brand identity, and spread the word about their incredible innovations.
To Whom It May Concern,
I am interested in applying for the technical content writer position at LUXOTTICA.
As an English literature graduate, I am competent at composing and editing written work quickly and efficiently, and can easily adjust the tone to cater to different audiences.
I have demonstrated these abilities during my time as a technical copywriter and editor, as I am accustomed to creating heavily-researched articles and copy about the latest technical innovations.
Navigating different technologies and products can be confusing for everyday consumers, especially since thousands of services make the same promises. I’m here to help companies produce excellent copy that will resonate with every consumer, whether they’re an optical-fanatic or novice.
It would be my absolute pleasure to create stun-worthy content for LUXOTTICA and be a part of your impactful communications team.
Thank you and kind regards,
In addition to a degree in English literature, I also have experience creating copy for businesses' blogs educating the public about the latest technological innovations.
These strong writing abilities were particularly helpful during my time as a Communications Intern for the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), where I was accustomed to working in a high-pressure environment composing, editing, formatting, and translating articles on a short deadline, varying from one month to a few hours. Additionally, I supported the preparation of the monthly newsletter, distributed in English and French to representatives of 16 countries from Africa, the Middle East, South East Asia, and Oceania. During my year there, my most notable achievement was my involvement in the production of Unasylva issue 252, FAO’s longest-running annual publication, circulated in three languages.
