We are seeking a motivated Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure server-side applications. The ideal candidate will focus on building robust APIs, managing data persistence, and ensuring application performance, reliability, and security.
Design, develop, test, and deploy backend services and APIs.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs to support frontend and third-party integrations.
Implement business logic, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
Design and optimize database schemas and model queries.
Ensure backend systems are scalable, secure, and performant.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues; perform root cause analysis.
Collaborate with frontend developers and other stakeholders to define requirements.
Contribute to backend architecture decisions and engineering best practices.
0–2 years of experience in backend development (or strong internship/portfolio projects).
Proficiency in Python and backend frameworks (Django / Django REST Framework preferred).
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and HTTP fundamentals.
Experience with relational databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and SQL basics.
Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows.
Understanding of security best practices, performance optimization, and backend testing fundamentals.
Experience with asynchronous programming and background task processing.
Familiarity with authentication systems (JWT, OAuth).
Experience working in agile development environments.
Exposure to logging, monitoring, and error-tracking tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Effective communication with frontend developers and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage priorities and adapt to changing requirements.
Passion for backend systems, scalability, and continuous improvement.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Python Institute PCAP, cloud certifications) are a plus
