Abdallah Abu Shihadeh

I have worked in various leadership and teaching roles, an Acting Principal, Vice Principal, IB coordinator, Director of Observatory, Examination officer and Department’s Head for Physics and Mathematics at which I gained an outstanding experience in the educational leadership filed. I also have an extensive experience with Curriculum Management and Development, and I have been growing progressively in more responsible positions in both the Curriculum field, and educational leadership. Throughout my educational leadership and teaching journey I worked tirelessly with much resilience in different curricular settings, such as IGCSE, IB, and AP.

That helped me develop a sense of appreciation to diversity as a mean of unity that servers and empowers the future generation and equip them with the necessary skills for a prosperous future. I taught Physics, Mathematics and Astronomy in variety of curricula settings with the focus on inquiry-based learning, critical thinking and analytical skills. I describe myself as an enthusiastic educator and a passionate learner who admires learning for its own sake.

My work with young learners taught me creativity, working with adolescents taught me patience and compassion.
