My main study and work experience revolved around industrial automation, including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, VFDs, and DCS. I can write the logic in both FBDs and Ladder Logic compliant with IEC 1131 and can design from scratch if needed. I also have extensive experience in field instrument selection, commissioning, and calibration.

I am well-versed in PLC-based ESD systems, F&G systems, and ATS systems. I also have a good working knowledge of intrinsic safety systems such as safety barriers.. I can analyze P&IDs and cause and effect diagrams.

I am familiar with many communication protocols such as Modbus, Modbus+, Ethernet, HART, and Profibus. Of the clients in the oil and gas industry and major manufacturing companies, I have completed projects for Aramco Saudi Arabia, ADCO UAE, PDO Oman, and DUBAL UAE, among others. The main platforms I have experience with are Rockwell Automation, Schneider Electric, Siemens, and Foxboro.

• I have researched the basics of IIoT systems using research tools (search engines, discussions, surveys, interviews, etc.) and have built a good knowledge base that has enabled me to present solutions to the market.
• Put in order ~10 generic specifications of Smart Factory Solutions, and are in the process of distributing it to the market. 
• Designed, engineered, tested, and presented PLC-Based IIoT Educational Demo Kits.

Senior Application Engineer 2002 – 2005

• Developed techno-commercial proposals for industrial automation in the oil and gas sector according to project specifications (along with compliance statements).
• Successfully led a company team in the design (hardware & software), development, construction, and project management of an ESD system based on brownfield conditions (valued at ~$1.2 million) and subsequently awarded contracts with a variance of more than 25%, resulting in a significant profit
