Haddadin is an expert in Traffic Engineering, Highway Designing, Traffic Control Devices, Traffic Safety Management, Traffic Accident Investigation and Reconstruction and Street Lighting. Also, he is a principal investigator for government sponsored research projects dealing with transportation modes, road safety, parking management, urban traffic safety programs, traffic management, traffic operations, traffic impact studies, parking design, pedestrian facilities,disable people facilities & legislation related to highway and traffic aspects.
He possess rich experience in Transportation systems, ITS ,equipment, tools and materials, traffic control devices, traffic signs , road marking and markers ,traffic signals, speed reduction devices including the material , design and installation of street lighting. He possess vast experience in Tenders preparation and evaluation of bids (Finance & Technical), Review of bidders (Consultants & contractor).
He is having broad experience in Transportation Planning, Sustainable Urban Transport Plans (SUTP) and played key role in implementation of Rapid Bus Transit project in Amman, not limited to the overall evaluation of the project, planning, execution, and submission of proposals. Also, designed and monitored the amendments to the projectroute, alignment including geometric design and safety aspects of geometric elements, identification of tracks station /junction locations, pedestrian facilities design and adaptation of methodology for the public transport. Took active participation and detailing to increase the elements of success for the project success.
Considering the Level OfService (LOS) for the private transport & choosing the routes of feederbuses and their integration with the proposed BRT main stations.
He was a lead role in establishing the Jordanian Traffic Institute withPolice Department (Ministry of Interiors) and provide several lectures & knowledge transfer sessions to the officers of relevant departments and public transport drivers. He is an active participant in many studies and researches for developing of Traffic Safety and Public Transportation regulations.
He is the core member in the preparation of manuals namely, MUTCD, traffic safety, trip generation, speed calming, road lighting, manual for accessibility of handicapped in the city of Amman.
