Assist in developing and implementing systems for internal control that would ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions in collaboration with Project/Program Managers and Team Leaders.
Supervising other junior supply chain staff
Providing training and capacity building for the newer projects coordinators and facilitators regarding the procurement process according to the SOPs and donors’ requirements
Lead meetings on procurement planning, prepare and update tracking tools
Conduct comprehensive field studies to ensure overall targets and project goals are met
Assist in preparing the annual budget and provide recommendations to minimize projects & operational over-budget
Responsible for preparing the master procurement plan in coordination with projects/programs managers
Monitor and analyze contract performance against agreed benchmarks through agreed reporting mechanisms and advise on potential issues and recommend remedial actions
Coordinate the signing of agreements & contracts between JRF and suppliers
Specialized in the tendering process
Prepare detailed comparison sheets and the committee report for tenders & bids
