I am Nadia Badaro, and I work as a laboratory technician. During my career, I was lucky enough to work with an outstanding hospital and NGO.
Besides, In Jordan, I was attending various conferences and collaborating with WHO on bacterial drug resistance issues.
I was excited about the role of laboratory technicians in combating these health issues, and I look forward to becoming more involved in the future.
For that, I am studying molecular diagnosis to learn the sequencing techniques, which will have a major impact on the laboratory results.
I am a laboratory technologist with eight years of experience. Most of my experience was in the Specialty Hospital microbiology, hematology, and pathology sections. Along with my duties in the lab, I was interested in infection control, so I worked for them as a part-time job for two years. This experience involves more quality control and investigation requirements during accreditation audits.
After six years, I worked for two years as a microbiology technician associated with research for Doctors Without Borders.Working with MSF was highly critical and sensitive as we handled war patients, thus it enhanced my technical and manageable skills.
For know, I am studying a master degree in Genetics and Molecular in Jordan University for Science and Technology.
Currently, I am I am currently in my second year of a Master's program in genetics and molecular diagnostics at the Jordan University of Science and Technology.
Years before, I finished a professional diploma in infection control and management at HCAC.
