グローバルに事業を展開する保険会社が、アプリケーション開発者を募集しています。本ポジションは、保険代理店および顧客向けシステムを担当する IT Service Delivery Department 3 に所属します。担当システムには、保険の提案・申込サービス、コールセンターシステム、新契約業務のワークフロープラットフォームなどが含まれます。

また、チームでは DX、DevOps、コンテナプラットフォーム、マイクロサービスアーキテクチャ などの取り組みも積極的に推進しています。

入社後はまず、アプリケーション開発やBAU（通常運用・保守）業務に実務担当者として携わります。その後、徐々に小規模プロジェクトや改善施策を主体的に担当し、将来的にはテクニカルリーダーまたはプロジェクトリーダーとして活躍することが期待されます。

業務詳細

• Webアプリケーションの開発（コーディング、単体テスト、結合テストなど）
• BAU開発業務のサポート（要件定義、システム設計、受入テスト、継続的なシステム改善など）
• 本番環境で発生するインシデント、システムに関する問い合わせ、アプリケーション上の問題への対応
• 外部開発パートナーとの調整、およびベンダー契約・リソース管理のサポート
• 会社のプロジェクトポートフォリオに沿った小規模システム開発プロジェクトのリード
• 事業部門と連携し、業務上の課題や改善機会を特定
• システムおよび業務プロセスの改善計画を策定・推進
• 保険販売、保険契約の申込、新契約業務などを支えるシステムのサポート
• 開発、運用、ビジネス部門と連携したシステム導入・提供
• DX、アジャイル、DevOps、コンテナ、マイクロサービスに関する取り組みへの参画

必須スキル

• Javaおよび／またはJavaScriptを使用したWebアプリケーション開発経験5年以上
• データベースを使用したアプリケーション開発経験5年以上
• アプリケーション開発を実務で担当した経験
• コーディング、テスト、システム設計、アプリケーション保守の経験
• ビジネス部門とIT・技術部門の双方のステークホルダーと協働できる能力
• 高い問題解決能力およびコミュニケーション能力
• より大きな責任を担うことへの意欲があり、将来的にリーダー職を目指したい方

A Global Insurance firm is seeking an Application Developer. This role sits within IT Service Delivery Department 3, which is responsible for systems supporting insurance agencies and customers, including insurance proposal and application services, call center systems, and new business workflow platforms. The team is also actively promoting DX initiatives, DevOps, container platforms, and microservices architecture.

The successful candidate will initially contribute hands-on to application development and BAU activities while gradually taking ownership of small projects and improvement initiatives as a future technical or project leader.

Responsibilities:

• Develop web applications, including coding, unit testing, and integration testing
• Support BAU development activities, including requirements definition, system design, acceptance testing, and ongoing system improvements
• Handle production incidents, system inquiries, and application-related issues
• Coordinate with external development partners and support vendor contract and resource management
• Lead small-scale system development projects in line with the company’s project portfolio
• Work with business departments to identify operational issues and improvement opportunities
• Develop and drive system and process improvement plans
• Support systems covering insurance sales, policy applications, and new business processes
• Collaborate with development, operations, and business teams on system delivery
• Contribute to DX, Agile, DevOps, container, and microservices initiatives

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of web application development experience using Java and/or JavaScript
• 5+ years of application development experience using databases
• Hands-on application development experience
• Experience with coding, testing, system design, and application maintenance
• Ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Interest in taking greater ownership of projects and progressing toward a leadership role
