As our system scales to handle increasing data volume and structural complexity, you will face high-level engineering challenges such as fundamental architectural overhauls and asynchronous processing design. • Strong architectural skills with the ability to explain design decisions using ER diagrams, sequence diagrams, and architecture diagrams.
• Practical experience designing and implementing applications and infrastructure on cloud environments (primarily AWS).
• Deep understanding of trade-offs in distributed systems, asynchronous processing, and transaction management.
• Experience designing schema and data flows across multiple datastores, including RDBs. ■ Preferred Qualifications - Experience acting as a Tech Lead (or in a similar capacity) reviewing and guiding technical designs and decision-making.
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures, asynchronous processing, and multi-datastore design (RDB, NoSQL, Search DBs).
• Proven track record of designing highly available, scalable, and maintainable cloud systems on AWS.
• Experience leading developer productivity initiatives (CI/CD, development workflow optimization) or major system re-architecting.
