About The Role

As a Data Analyst, you will play a hands-on role in shaping business decisions by delivering clear insights, reliable reporting, and scalable ways of working. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across Japan marketing organization, turning business questions into structured analysis and practical recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Translate business questions into structured analyses and deliver clear, actionable recommendations
• Monitor core KPIs, identify performance drivers, and highlight meaningful variances, risks, and opportunities
• Measure initiative impact by evaluating outcomes against defined success criteria
• Reporting &
  • Dashboarding

• Own recurring performance reporting and continuously improve accuracy, consistency, and timeliness
• Build and maintain dashboards that help stakeholders quickly understand performance and take action
• Streamline reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort with clear documentation
• Business Partnership &
  • Enablement

• Partner with cross-functional teams to align priorities, clarify requirements, and deliver insights that support planning and execution
• Manage work end-to-end with strong ownership, including prioritization, stakeholder communication, and clear deliverables
• Enable stakeholders through knowledge sharing, reusable approaches, and best practices that strengthen data-driven decision-making

Qualifications

Qualifications (Required)

• Demonstrated experience in data analysis and delivering actionable insights
• Strong knowledge of SQL, BigQuery and experience using a programming language for analysis and data processing (e.g., Python or R)
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Flexibility, ability to manage multiple priorities with a strong learning mindset and eagerness to take on new challenges
• Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in designing, building, and maintaining ETL pipelines using PySpark
• Domain experience in the card business or customer lifecycle analytics
• Experience in building statistical models and automated reporting solutions
