Data Scientist - ML/AI

Company Profile The team focuses on applying advanced analytics, machine learning, and emerging AI technologies to solve complex risk and decision-making challenges for enterprise clients across multiple markets.

The Role

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will design and deploy predictive models and AI solutions that support large-scale analytical initiatives such as risk modeling, fraud detection, forecasting, and decision intelligence.

You will work with large datasets, develop machine learning and GenAI applications (LLMs, RAG, agent workflows), and collaborate with cross-regional teams to deliver solutions used by both internal stakeholders and external clients.

The role also involves mentoring junior data scientists and contributing to the development of next-generation AI capabilities within the organization.

Your Skills

• Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's/PhD preferred)
• ~10+ years of experience in data science, ML, or statistical modeling
• Strong skills in Python / R and SQL
• Experience with predictive modeling and large datasets
• Japanese and English - Business to High Business Level communication
• Exposure to GenAI technologies is a plus
