In this role, you will be responsible for the development, validation, and release of vehicle diagnostic systems for commercial vehicles.

Responsibilities
- Develop, validate, and release diagnostic content for commercial vehicle platforms.
- Analyze ECU software and hardware changes and translate requirements into diagnostic specifications.
- Author and maintain diagnostic data using industry-standard formats such as CXF and ODX.
- Prepare diagnostic specification sheets, service procedures, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with Project, R&D, Quality Management, and other stakeholders to plan and execute diagnostic development activities.
- Track new vehicle programs, series changes, and field issue resolutions, ensuring timely delivery of diagnostics team milestones.
- Plan diagnostic testing activities and vehicle availability in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Manage diagnostic content releases and ensure delivery according to project timelines.
- Generate monthly dashboards, MIS reports, and performance metrics to provide visibility to management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, process optimization, and cost reduction.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new technologies within vehicle diagnostics.
Qualifications
- JLPT N2 level Japanese proficiency with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Business-level English communication skills.
- 3 years of experience in vehicle diagnostics systems development, validation, or related activities.
- Strong understanding of automotive electronics, ECU architecture, and diagnostic processes.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and global teams.
- Available for full-time onsite support.
Preferred
- Experience in the commercial vehicle, automotive, or mobility sector.
- Educational background in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostic standards and tools.
