Engineering Manager

The Role

• Lead the technical direction of a "custom development × product development hybrid strategy" - rebuild the dev org and establish a winning formula through modern tooling and AI.

Key Responsibilities

Some hands-on contribution is expected, but the primary focus of this role is maximizing organizational output and decision-making.

Org & Strategy Management

• Set and execute development organization goals; define and operate KGI/KPIs and project Definition of Done
• Lead the engineering organization: hiring planning, goal-setting, performance evaluations, 1-on-1s, and mentoring

Project & Quality Management

• Own final decisions on estimation and technical specs - balancing business requirements with technical feasibility (acting as technical gatekeeper)
• Standardize and improve the development process: formalize requirements definition, improve delivery flow, define quality standards (QCD)

Product Development Leadership

• Define and execute a resource strategy for reducing technical debt
