■Responsibilities
- Design and conduct experiments for quantum computing hardware platforms
- Build, align, and optimize laser and optical systems
- Operate and maintain ultra-high vacuum (UHV) environments
- Develop and improve experimental control and automation software
- Analyze experimental data and drive system performance improvements
- Publish research results and present at international conferences
- Collaborate closely with researchers and engineers across disciplines

Requirements
■Required Qualifications
- PhD in Experimental Physics (e.g., AMO Physics, Quantum Optics, Precision Measurement) or equivalent practical experience
- Hands-on experience with CW lasers and free-space optical systems, including design, alignment, and stabilization
- Experimental experience in quantum computing, quantum simulation, or quantum sensing/precision measurement using cold atoms or trapped ions
■Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building quantum or optical experimental systems from concept through full system integration
- Experience automating experimental platforms, including calibration, monitoring, and stable operation
- Experience with optical tweezers and cold-atom systems
- Experience with ultra-high vacuum (UHV) systems
- Knowledge of AOMs, EOMs, RF systems, and low-noise electronics
- Startup experience
