Through their business division, they develop end-to-end blockchain applications, integrate automated transaction layers, and create financial products aimed at institutional and retail digital asset adoption. They maintain a lean corporate footprint while engaging directly with global capital markets.
About the Role
We are partnering with our client to find a Full-Stack Software Engineer to act as their first engineering touchpoint on the ground in Tokyo. You will join an elite, global team of roughly 5 engineers driving their initiatives in the crypto space.
This role operates on a results-based, high-autonomy model. The hiring team prioritizes product substance and architectural soundness over rigid processes. They are looking for engineers who can logically explain why a feature or technical path should be pursued, with less structural rigidity on the exact how.
What You Will Do
- Build & Scale: Develop and maintain public-facing, consumer- and enterprise-ready web applications.
- Innovate: Research and implement AI-forward development practices and features to automate system workflows.
- Collaborate: Coordinate with the core global engineering team, providing clear structural reasoning behind technical decisions.
- Take Ownership: Manage full-lifecycle features independently under a highly flexible, results-oriented execution framework.
- Expand: Support the broader technical expansion of the firm’s crypto and digital asset platforms.

- Technical Expertise: Proven experience engineering functional, production-ready web applications.
- Core Tech Stack: 5 years of deep knowledge of Node.js, Next.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
