Software Engineer (Java/Python, Cloud & DevOps)
We are looking for a Software Engineer with strong experience in Java and/or Python to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and cloud-native solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build reliable systems, automate deployments, and improve platform performance in a modern DevOps environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and/or Python
- Build and support cloud-based solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
- Implement infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system reliability, scalability, and security
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
- Support containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes
Requirements
- 3 years of software development experience with Java and/or Python
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Linux environments and scripting
- Understanding of DevOps, software development lifecycle, and agile methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, or other infrastructure automation tools
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk
- Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N2 or above) is a plus
