Your new role

Responsibilities

• Requirement gathering and converting business needs to technical design
• System design, coding (Java), implementation
• Code review, unit testing, verification, validation
• Deployment & rollback (DEV/STG/PROD)
• Post-release monitoring and maintenance
• Collaboration with PM, tech lead, QA, DevOps, global teams
• Propose system improvements, evaluate new tech (incl. AI tools)

What you'll need to succeed

Must-Have Skills

• 5 years software development experience
• Strong design & implementation skills
• Agile/Scrum experience
• AI development tools (Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf)
• Java Spring (Boot Batch)
• MySQL, MongoDB
• GCS, BigQuery, DataProc
• Kafka
• Git, Jira

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Tez, Presto
• ReactJS, AngularJS
• Couchbase, Cassandra, Redis
• JUnit, Sonar, Jenkins
• MicroStrategy, Tableau
• Data pipeline architecture experience

Languages

Japanese: Not required / English: Daily conversation (TOEIC 600 equivalent)
