Java Software Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Java Developer with experience in modern frontend development using React and a strong DevOps background. The successful candidate will design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable enterprise applications while contributing across the entire software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build responsive and user-friendly web applications using React.js.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.
• Manage and optimize cloud-based infrastructure and containerized applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural design sessions.
• Contribute to system scalability, reliability, and security initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4 years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8 and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices.
• Knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Experience with Git and modern software development practices.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

DevOps Requirements

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience deploying applications to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kafka or other messaging platforms.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of security best practices and DevSecOps.
• Exposure to automated testing frameworks and performance testing.
• Experience working in a multinational or enterprise environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with serverless technologies.
• Certification in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, or Java technologies.
• Knowledge of FinTech, E-commerce, or large-scale platform development.
