Lead Data Analyst

I’m working with a major digital entertainment company in Japan that is hiring a Principal Data Analyst to lead data driven decision making across its gaming business.

This is a senior role with broad influence across business strategy, product development, marketing, and data infrastructure. You will work closely with leadership and multiple teams to improve both game performance and the wider organization.

What you’ll work on:

• Lead and develop the data analytics function for the gaming business
• Define and analyze KPIs including LTV, DAU/MAU, retention, monetization, and event performance
• Design and evaluate A/B tests for new features and in game events
• Combine user behavior, game, and marketing data to improve player experience and maximize revenue
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to support future game portfolio strategy
• Advise on data warehouse and data mart design and optimization
• Partner with engineers to improve the data platform
• Evaluate and improve BI, DWH, and analytics environments
• Present insights clearly to executives, development teams, and marketing stakeholders
• Help improve business strategy, existing operations, and organizational management
