LLM Platform Engineer — Tokyo

Starting Salary Range: 8,000,000 ~ 20,000,000 JPY

Japanese level required: Business level

This company is developing multimodal infrastructure models centered on large-scale language model (LLM), and in addition to the development of LLM and generative AI foundation models, we are also engaged in applied development aimed at introducing them in ways that strengthen our own business domains, such as entertainment, scientific computing, and robotics. They are also engaged in applied development and research for application to other industries.

Software engineers of LLM platform (applications and infrastructure) focus on the development of a software platform to service the currently under development 100B+ parameters LLMs and related technologies.

Jobs examples

・Design development of a system to introduce the foundation model of generative AI and LLM developed in-house into various business areas.

・Design development of platforms to enable external providers to use the foundation models.

・Building and maintenance of tools to enable efficient use of such models in business projects that use the foundation models.

・Actual responsibilities are not limited to these. The actual tasks you will be responsible for after joining will be determined in consideration of your expertise and experience.

Qualifications (Required)

• Basic knowledge of Computer Science
• Experience in system design and development using cloud services
• Experience in system design and development using Web APIs
• Experience in researching and evaluating new services and software
• Experience in problem-solving within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in designing, developing, and operating services from scratch
• Experience in frontend application design and development
• Practical experience related to Machine Learning (ML) or Natural Language Processing (NLP)
• Experience in leading a team of 3 or more members in development projects
