We’re looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join an innovative, fast-growing tech company in Tokyo. You’ll help develop and optimize AI-driven solutions, working across machine learning and emerging AI technologies to build scalable products that solve real-world problems and deliver business value.

You'll join a collaborative engineering team working across machine learning, AI-powered applications, and data-driven products. The role offers opportunities to develop new solutions, improve existing models, and work closely with engineering and product teams to turn ideas into real-world impact.

📍 Location: Tokyo, Japan

Please note: Only candidates currently based in Japan will be considered.

What you'll work on:

• Developing, evaluating, and improving machine learning and LLM-powered solutions
• Building and deploying AI applications for real-world use cases
• Working with data pipelines and modern cloud technologies
• Collaborating with engineers and business stakeholders to bring new ideas to life

What we're looking for:

• 2+ years of experience in AI engineering, machine learning engineering, or data science
• Strong Python and machine learning fundamentals
• Hands-on experience building LLM-powered applications
• Familiarity with SQL and data pipeline tools (DBT, Airflow, Prefect)

Experience with RAG, agentic AI systems, or LLM evaluation is a plus.
