LANDCROS Innovation Studios | Hitachi Construction Machinery

LANDCROS Innovation Studios is the open innovation arm of Hitachi Construction Machinery, driving new business creation beyond traditional construction and mining machinery.

We are looking for a Manager who will lead new business creation through startup collaboration, open innovation, and strategic investment. This role is directly connected to the company’s future growth and works closely with global startups, VCs, and internal business units.

What you will do

• Create new businesses through collaboration with startups
• Source, evaluate, and collaborate with global startups and VCs
• Design new business models and drive projects from concept to commercialization
• Support and execute strategic startup investments
• Work closely with global teams and business units (English used frequently)

Who we’re looking for

• Experience in new business development or open innovation
• Hands-on experience collaborating with startups
• Strong interest in new technologies, startups, and global trends
• Independent, proactive, and comfortable working across organizations
• Business-level Japanese & English

Nice to have

• Startup investment or VC-related experience
• Overseas work or global project experience
