Network Program Manager

Job Title: Bilingual Network Program Manager

Location: Tokyo, Japan

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day network operations, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Act as the primary client contact for managed network services and escalations.
• Coordinate incident, change, problem, and request management activities following ITIL practices.
• Lead communication between Japanese-speaking stakeholders and English-speaking global support teams.
• Oversee network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless solutions, and load balancers.
• Drive service improvements, reporting, capacity planning, and operational governance.
• Provide technical leadership and manage vendor/carrier escalations when required.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 years of experience in Network Operations, Managed Services, Service Delivery, or Program Management.
• Strong hands-on networking background covering Routing & Switching, Security, Wireless, and Load Balancing technologies.
• Experience working with global teams across multiple time zones.
• Excellent client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Native/Fluent Japanese and Business-Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Certifications

• PMP or PRINCE2
• ITIL Foundation (v3/v4)
• CCNA or equivalent networking certifications
