The Role

This role sits at the intersection of project management and product ownership, focusing on both delivery management and defining product requirements.

You will work closely with a small agile engineering team and UI/UX designers to ensure development initiatives are well structured, clearly prioritized, and delivered effectively.

Key responsibilities include

• Managing product backlog, epics, and user stories to ensure clear development priorities
• Translating stakeholder and user feedback into actionable requirements
• Coordinating closely with engineers and designers to support efficient delivery
• Acting as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and development teams
• Supporting release planning, testing coordination, and delivery readiness
• Reviewing UI/UX proposals and ensuring alignment with user needs
• Maintaining documentation related to requirements, product features, and delivery status

This role requires someone who enjoys actively shaping product direction while ensuring projects move forward smoothly.

Your Skills

• Japanese or JLPT N2 with strong understanding of Japanese business culture
• Experience working as a Project Manager, Product Owner, or Product Manager in an agile environment
• Practical knowledge of Scrum concepts including backlog management, epics, and user stories
• Ability to translate business or user needs into clear technical requirements
• Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills
• Comfortable working closely with engineering teams without needing to be a developer
