Japanese Bilingual Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Technical Leader)

Note: Candidates must be Japanese Bilingual, residing in Japan and be authorized to work

JLPT N2 or above is preferred.

Senior technical leader who can set architectural direction, drive AI-enabled innovation, and personally contribute to high-quality software delivery for modern digital solutions supporting customers, Direct Marketing agencies, and call center operations.

Role and Responsibilities

Lead solution architecture, technical design, and platform modernization initiatives.

Translate business requirements into scalable and secure technology solutions.

Drive full-stack development across front-end, back-end, APIs, databases, cloud, and DevOps environments.

Remain hands-on with coding, code reviews, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and production support.

Design and implement AI, Generative AI, AI Agents, Conversational AI, and Copilot-based solutions.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, vendors, and development teams to deliver business value.

Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, compliance, and operational standards.

Required Skills & Experience

10 years of software engineering experience in enterprise environments.

Strong experience in solution architecture and full-stack application development.

Hands-on expertise in technologies such as React, Angular, Vue.js, .NET, Java, Node.js, Python, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, CI/CD, and DevOps.

Experience delivering customer-facing digital platforms and enterprise applications.

Proven experience in AI/ML, Generative AI, AI Agents, Agentic Workflows, Conversational AI, or Microsoft Copilot solutions.

Experience with Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI/OpenAI, CRM, CDP, MarTech, or Marketing Automation platforms is preferred.

Strong problem-solving, technical leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience working in Agile and global environments.

Cloud, AI, or Architecture certifications are a plus.

Business-level English and Japanese communication skills (JLPT N2 or above preferred).
