Senior Software Engineer

Senior Backend Engineer - Go / Python - Global Fintech - Full Remote - ~18M or DOE A payment processing service from Japan that connects major payment methods in Japan and around the world. Our platform powers businesses across e-commerce, social media platforms and restaurants.

Our customers are global, and so is our team. You'll join a fast-growing startup that fully owns its product, where your work directly shapes how money moves for thousands of businesses.

What you'll do

• Design and build backend services that process payments reliably at scale
• Integrate with payment methods and partners in Japan and globally
• Improve the performance, security and stability of a system businesses rely on every day
• Use AI agents and modern tools to ship faster as a team

You need:

• Backend 3+ years experience
• Experience with Go and gRPC or Python

Nice to have:

• Lead / Management experience
• Fullstack experience

Salary and Benefits:

• Annual income ~18M or DOE
