Your new company A major global financial services organization with a strong presence across APAC, known for its advanced technology platforms supporting finance, risk, and operations. The team operates in a highly international environment, working closely with global stakeholders across multiple regions.

Your new role

You will join a Finance Technology team as a Software Developer, contributing to the development and enhancement of systems that support financial reporting, data processing, and business operations.

Key responsibilities include

• Designing and developing scalable applications and REST-based services
• Building and optimizing large-scale data processing and ETL workflows
• Working on full-stack development across backend and frontend (Angular-based UI)
• Collaborating with global teams to deliver new features and improvements
• Supporting automation, modernization, and AI-driven initiatives
• Participating in Agile development and DevOps practices

This role offers strong exposure to global projects, modern tech stacks, and cross-functional collaboration.

What you'll need to succeed

• 2-5 years of software development experience
• Hands-on experience with Java / Scala / Python (or similar)
• Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., Snowflake, Teradata, DB2)
• Working knowledge of Linux environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and business-level Japanese (N3+)
• A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently in a global team

• Contract type: Long‑term dispatch contract (rolling renewal)
• Working hours: Weekday business hours
