Role Description

This Student Intern role is an on-site internship based in Tokyo, Japan. The intern will support client projects by assisting with research on public policy, market trends, media landscapes, and stakeholder environments. Day-to-day tasks may include drafting and proofreading communication materials, such as briefing notes, social media posts, newsletters, and presentations under guidance from senior team members.

The role also involves coordinating with team members on project timelines, participating in internal meetings, and learning best practices in government relations and PR consulting.

Qualifications

• Excellent writing and speaking skills in both English and Japanese, with clear, concise, and professional communication.
• Strong research, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with common office and collaboration tools (e.g. Microsoft Office and Google Workspace).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team, manage multiple tasks, and demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Able to come to the office 3-4+ times a week. (Transportation covered)
• Eligibility to work on-site in Tokyo, Japan.

Preferred

• Able to start as soon as possible.
• Adobe and video editing skills.
