My name is Dianne, I am 23 years old and I am from the Philippines. I graduated from De La Salle University with the degree Bachelor of Secondary Education, Major in English. I am passionate about learning and teaching English because I believe in the power of the English language and I have always loved writing, reading, and researching topics related to learning English as a Second or Foreign language.
Gaining knowledge about this field means having the opportunity to share it with others—especially here in Japan, I think it’s one of the countries where people are trying to learn it further outside the classroom.
I currently reside in Fuchu, Tokyo.
During my undergraduate years, we had to create action research papers and with that, we had to teach English to learners using the chosen technique we’ve come up with. For me, I taught Grade 11 learners using Minimal Pairs. During my teaching practicum, I also taught Grade 11 students topics related to academic research writing.
After graduating, I worked as a Social Media Manager for around 4 months.
I have also participated in some English-conversation programs for Japanese students here in Japan.
I graduated from De La Salle University with the degree Bachelor of Secondary Education, Major in English.
I am currently a research student at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies.
