flight attendant in commercial & corporate for over 10years
I derive great pleasure by serving various customers, and my objective has always been to work for a company that develops novel services. I have worked as a cabin crew member on Japan Airlines for 7 years, and Virgin Atlantic for a year and a half, during which time I have gained numerous skills in a wide range of areas.
While executing cabin duties at Japan Airlines on domestic and international routes, I learnt to speak correct and graceful Japanese, and, as a representative of Japanese people, to embody our distinct culture and manner of conduct. I also learnt to understand the passenger cabin in its entirely in order to increase the satisfaction of customers. I am aware of the importance of flexibility and urgency of response, and the ability to prioritise.
Due to the cooperation of the multinational crew, I developed communication skills with people of all nationalities. For my last three years in the company I was assigned to the first class section, where I devoted myself to service for the individual—identifying each one’s preferences, reading their behavioural characteristics in an instant, providing the best possible options, and gaining their complete satisfaction. This gave me the ultimate happiness and drive.
At Virgin Atlantic Airways, I was the interface between Japan and the UK. With a different culture and national identity, the position required each crew member to exercise their individuality and drive the team to its maximum level of performance. I learnt the importance of taking responsibility and making my own decisions.
In Crimson group, I was flying as a VIP flight attendant managing all stuff regarding each flights. I am good at organizing some caterings, ordering some essential items for the cabin, and even communicating with the personnel working directly for the owner. Although the period of flying as a VIP attendant is short, I am confident of working and organizing at your company as a professional.
In addition, at work, I set goals for myself, carry out the smallest of tasks carefully and accurately, and am flexible in responding to different situations. By engaging with customers, I feel pleased that I am able to increase my ideas for getting closer to them, and thus provide an enjoyable experience. The customers’ happiness gives me further motivation and I would like to keep feeding this positive cycle.
With all of my customer service experience, I have decided that I would like to work in a company that focuses on the individual and your company in particular would allow me to fully utilise my experience and skills. I firmly believe that I will be able to continuously provide a high level of performance on a daily basis in your organisation.
