Myo Ko Ko Latt, a former Chief Officer in the Singapore maritime industry and a maritime lecturer at Myanmar Maritime University and Maritime College, has completed his Ph.D. research under the Doctoral scholarship at Wuhan University of Technology (122 Projects University) in China. He obtained his Master's degree from the top maritime university in China, Dalian Maritime University. His entire life and educational background are rooted in the maritime industry, where he has taught maritime laws, navigation subjects, and other related IMO courses.
He is also the holder of an IMO Instructor Certificate and a Class 2 license. Under the supervision of Dr.
Hui, he studied the maritime control system for autonomous ships, path planning, and the latest collision avoidance systems for Level 3-4 unmanned vessels. His interests extend to the future of maritime technology, shore-based control centers, and the development of Intelligent Vessel Traffic Service (I-VTS) systems. His goal is to contribute to the advancement of maritime operations and ensure safer, more efficient shipping.
