Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Technical Security Systems Engineer based in Nairobi County, Kenya. The role involves providing comprehensive technical support, troubleshooting system issues, and designing, implementing, and maintaining secure systems and networks. The selected candidate will ensure optimal system performance while adhering to best practices for network security and information technology.
This role also includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate technical vulnerabilities effectively.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Troubleshooting and providing Technical Support to resolve system and network issues effectively.
- Experience in Systems Engineering, including system design and implementation, with knowledge of infrastructure optimization.
- Proficiency in Network Security, ensuring secure configuration, monitoring, and management of systems and data.
- Solid foundation in Information Technology principles including IT infrastructure, hardware, and software integration.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to work collaboratively and independently.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNA Security, or CEH are a plus.
- Experience with security compliance and risk management frameworks is advantageous.
