I have wide experience in Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety duties, undertaking socio-economic baseline surveys, Resettlement Action Plan, Natural Resource Management Strategies, water and soil quality monitoring and assessments, ecological surveys and assessments.
I have been involved in numerous data collection assignments with Howard Humphreys and Atkins company, National Construction Authority (NCA) and Good Stuff International. I spent three years as a field Seismic Survey Environmental Monitor and Health and Safety Assessor in seismic surveys for oil and gas exploration in Turkana by Tullow Oil BV Kenya and Earthview Geoconsultants Limited. I carried out daily assessments of environmental, health and safety aspects in the field as well as implementation of the Environmental Management Plan and safety standards of workers and workplace assessments.
I also have gained broad experience in undertaking Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs) and Environmental Audits (EA) during various Corporate and individual projects. I was also engaged as an Environmental Surveyor at Lake Turkana Wind Power Project (LTWP). Currently am an Occupational Health and Safety Officer with Shengli Engineering Construction Co Ltd undertaking Road construction projects within Limuru area in Kiambu County.
