Adelaide Mbatia

I am a Kenyan teacher of English and Literature with an MA in Linguistics from the University of Nairobi and a Bed in Arts from Kenyatta University. I have been working under the Teachers Service Commission since 2008. I have taught English under the 8-4-4 curriculum for 18 years and transitioned to the Competency-Based Curriculum this year.

My daily work focuses on mentoring, coaching, and preparing learners for national exams, alongside serving as Head of the Language Department and Head of Quality Assurance.
