I grew up in a diverse environment that taught me the value of adaptability, empathy, and open-mindedness from an early age. At 18, I’ve had the chance to learn four languages: Somali, Swahili, English, and Arabic, which has not only strengthened my communication skills but also allowed me to connect with people across different cultures and perspectives. These experiences have shaped me into someone who enjoys working with others, approaches challenges with resilience, and stays motivated even when things get tough.
I see every opportunity as a chance to grow, contribute, and bring a positive attitude to the people and tasks around me.
I recently completed an internship at Aga Khan University Hospital, where I gained first-hand experience in a professional healthcare environment. During my time there, I developed organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt in fast-paced situations. Beyond that, I bring strong communication skills, resilience, and a positive attitude. I am eager to apply what I’ve learned while continuing to grow and contribute meaningfully in any role I take on.
Currently studying in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, focusing on subjects such as Psychology, Biology, Chemistry, and English. My education has strengthened my critical thinking, research, and problem-solving skills, while also giving me the chance to engage with diverse perspectives and global issues.
