My background in environmental science has afforded me with the practical and quantitative skills to solve fundamental and applied environmental concerns. My passion lies in conservation and animal welfare and I aspire to build a career in biodiversity conservation with a focus on reshaping current Human-wildlife mitigation strategies.

Professional experience

• Interned at Windle Trust and lead a website project enhancing my quantitative data collection skills : Year completed August 2023- July 2023
• Participated in field work projects around Liverpool and a residential field course to South Wales acquiring quantitative skills in field ecology : Year completed 2021 -2020
• Took a course in GIS acquiring skills through coursework: Year completed 2021- 2019

• Volunteered at The Kenya Society for Protection and Care of Animals for several years, learning how to foster and care for rescued animals as well as perform administrative tasks such as food logistics : Year completed 2019- 2017
• Volunteered at the Kenya Wildlife society gaining advocacy skills for societal issues such as animal rights and conflict resolution in wildlife-human conflicts
