Financial Reporting and Treasury Management
- Preparing & improving monthly and annual financial reporting using HFM and treasury management processes.
- Oversee funds are transferred to projects per country on time by communicating with Treasury
- Perform all balance sheet reconciliations (bank accounts, investments, prepaids, deposits, accruals, depreciation, etc.) and prepare month-end close
- Lead the annual budget development process, monitor expenditures and variances, and proactively update income and expense projections.
- General ledger accounts analysis, maintenance, reconciliation and continuously ensuring data accuracy.
Internal
Control and Risk Management
- Maintain appropriate insurance coverage.
- Review of monthly financial documents, provide feedback to internal ethics and compliance department • Report risk issues to the CFO and audit committee
Fixed Assets & Inventory Management
- Introduced fixed asset tagging exercise, maintenance, and accounting for the fixed asset register reconciling it to the General Ledger.
- Chart cash flow and ensure cash flow needs and adherence to Investment Policy.
- Co-ordination of monthly and annual cash and inventory stock counts.
Key Achievements
- Recognition by the management for putting in place a safety control procedure in liaison with the HESQ(Health, Safety & Quality) manager which minimized accidents.
- Introduction of online submission, filing and payment statutory deductions PAYE, NHIF, VAT, Reverse VAT, Withholding VAT.
