Alfred Muchilwa

With over 10 years of experience in the animation industry, I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and skills with the next generation of African animators. As a resident instructor at the Africa Digital Media Academy (ADMA), I teach students how to create engaging and diverse stories and characters using various animation techniques and software.

I specialize in stop motion and digital cut-out animation, and I have proficiency in Toon Boom and Adobe Applications and Blender 3D. I have also worked as a lead animator for a global animated series, and a designer for a leading advertising agency. My goal is to inspire and empower my students to pursue their creative potential and express their unique vision.

I have 10 years experience as a multimedia instructor working at one of East Africa's premiere multimedia training institutions. Prior to that I worked on Tinga Tinga Tales, which was East Africa's first locally produced show for a global audience.

I have a bachelor's degree in design from the University of Nairobi.
